NBA Free Play: Game 1 Spurs vs. Warriors

Take #501 San Antonio Spurs and Golden State Warriors OVER 211.5. (3:30 PM ET Sunday, May 13)

The Western Conference title and a trip to the NBA finals will be on the line as the Golden State Warriors and San Antonio Spurs meet in the opener of the best-of-seven WC championship series. Tip-off is set for 3:30 PM ET at Oracle Arena in Oakland where Golden State is favored by -10. The total is 211.5. The Warriors and Spurs finished with the top two records in the West last season as well, but an early exit by San Antonio gave Golden State an easier path to the NBA Finals.

The Warriors (75-15, 45-42 ATS) are a perfect 8-0 in the postseason thanks to sweeps of Portland and Utah. They should be well rested after eliminating the Jazz a week ago.

The Spurs (69-25, 48-44-2 ATS) didn’t wrap up their series against the Houston Rockets until Thursday and enter at less than full strength. Tony Parker (quadriceps tendon) is out for the rest of the playoffs and Kawhi Leonard is hobbling with a sprained ankle that kept him out of the clinching Game 6 win.

Golden State is 17-5-1 ATS in its last 23 games and 12-4-1 vs. the number in its past 17 against the Western Conference. San Antonio is 6-2 ATS in its past eight conference title games.

The Spurs are 8-2 to the OVER in their last ten overall and 8-2 to the OVER last 10 against the Western Conference. SA is also 7-2 to the high side in its past nine road games.

The Warriors are 12-5 to the UNDER in their past 17 overall.

The Warriors and Spurs finished with the top two records in the West last season as well, but an early exit by San Antonio gave Golden State an easier path to the NBA Finals.
